After such an amazing Festival in Colchester Castle Park, September 8th & 9th 2023, we thought we would bring another evening of entertainment to Colchester in 2023.
Anti Loo Roll Brigade with Anti Loo Roll Festival presents are excited to be bringing an evening of Funk and Soul to Colchester Charter Hall, Thursday December 21st 2023. Doors opening at 8pm until 1am, we have also gathered together some of the best Colchester DJs to create our supporting "THE ALB SOUL COLLECTIVE" featuring sets from our very own “Dutchie” and local DJ superstars "Ben Howard, Choc ‘N’ Gilly and Jimmy K”
HEADLINING ACT CRAIG CHARLES DJ SET
From Red Dwarf to Robot Wars to Radio 6 and Radio 2 via the cobbles of Coronation Street, Charles' career has seen him transform from respected actor to musical icon with twenty years of broadcasting under his belt!
Craig's pioneering BBC 6 Music Funk and Soul Show was born in 2002 and has since broadcast live every Saturday night with an assortment of emerging talents and classic gems, earning him global support and recognition as one of the UK's foremost funk and soul tastemakers, DJs and promoters of new music.
With a jammed packed year in the making, the Funk and Soul train keeps movin' along without a stop in sight - in the words of the dancehall don himself, 'No sleep till way past bedtime'.
